Poetry

  Only if I believed in reincarnation, I'd choose to be a majestic tree. With a big, strong trunk and evergreen leaves,  Rooted deep, no matter the weather's hostility. Through sandy soil I'd stand strong and still, Providing life and shade to all who seek. A deathbed companion and a symbol of grit, From beginning to end, my purpose never concealed.                                                      -crystal 

  It feels like a rush in my head, Two veins racing for their lives. I sense the panic within them, The pounding of their hearts. I shouldn't feel this, But I suppose I'm a big empath, Carrying all the burdens of the world, Shouldering everyone's troubles on my head. Now it all makes sense why there was such a rush in my head.                                                        -crystal                                   

My mind is haunted, I hear your voice every night, Whispering in my ears, Calling out my name. But I remain silent, As if nothing has happened. My mind is haunted, I see your face every night, Standing in the dark, Staring into my soul. But I remain silent, As if nothing has happened. My mind is haunted, I feel your touch every night, Creeping up my body, Giving me random goosebumps. But I remain silent, As if nothing has happened.
