When a fish falls for an alligator
When she saw him
With those hard shells, those broad snout,
She didn't think twice.
She saw him passing by
With a pride along with his ally.
She wondered if she could be with him-
Oh, little did she know
What her actions meant.
But somehow, she gathered all the courage she had
And walked to him as she was just a shad.
The alligator saw her and just observed,
But all she wanted was to be loved.
His ally taunted her for her foolishness
But her love was so deep that she couldn't think less.
So he offers for a short swim by to keep her heart;
She feels loved for once, and so Bernard.
As the time passed, they met other fishes,
And the alligators grew happy with excitement.
In the rush of food,
they ate her too,
And then she realised the cost of loving the alligator.
